Produced in conjunction with the Society of Sant Vincent De Paul. By purchasing this calendar you are aiding SVP in their work.
This beautifully produced calendar features the work of celebrated Irish landscape photographer Liam Blake. Liam travels the length and breadth of the country throughout the year in order to capture images of the wild and wonderful landscapes of Ireland. Twelve of his most dramatic and wild photographs are presented here as a collection for you to enjoy. Brighten up your life or that of somebody special for the year ahead.
Size 29.7cm x 21cm (opening to 59.4cm x 21cm)
The calendar has been produced utilising a fine art printing process which renders the images in a much higher resolution more akin to a photographic print.
This calendar features a location map which shows the locations where the photographs were taken and the calendarium also shows the phases of the moon.
Society of Saint Vincent De Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVP) was founded in Ireland in 1844. It is the largest voluntary charitable organisation in Ireland.
Our goal is to fight poverty in all its forms through the practical assistance to people in need.
During its history it has helped people in need through a Famine, a Civil War, a War of Independence, two World Wars and several economic recessions.
SVP’s focus is on practical approach to dealing with poverty, alleviating its effects on individuals and families through working primarily in person-to-person contact by a unique system of family visitation and seeking to achieve social justice and equality of opportunity for all citizens.
In addition, we provide a wide range of services for vulnerable people through our local offices, shops, resource centres, housing, day care and holiday schemes amongst other things.
